VP of Transportation Group & EH&S

Robert C. Roberti

As Vice President of R.W. Sidley’s Transportation Group, Bob Roberti supports our customers’ hauling needs through a modern, extensive fleet of Sidley-owned vehicles and company contracts for various intermodal methods of transportation. In this capacity, Bob supervises a dedicated group of employees and drivers whom he expects to meet or exceed promised delivery expectations consistently. Bob is also responsible for leading our Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) program, working collaboratively with management teams to optimize safety performance and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Bob attended Lakeland Community College’s Construction Management Program and earned an associate’s degree in Nuclear Operations from Regents College in New York. Since then, he has received extensive training and holds numerous industry certifications that include:

• Certified Green Star Environmental Auditor NRMC
• Certified 10-hour / 40-hour OSHA Construction & General Industry Safety
• Certified 40-hour HAZWOPPER
• Certified NRMC Professional Environmentalist
• Certified Hygienist & Trainer
• Certified Safety Trainer MSHA & OSHA All Standards
• Certified MARSEC FSO & Trainer
• Certified FMCSA Trainer – Department of Transportation
• Certified Fall Protection Specialist & Trainer

Bob is an active member of the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP), Ohio Trucking Association (OTA), and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce. He has held various managerial positions in service-related industries, giving him the necessary technical and business leadership skills to drive success. Bob considers communication the key to getting the job done right, as witnessed by many happy Sidley customers through the years. What is the best advice that Bob has ever been given? “Give 110% in everything you do for your company, friends, family, and yourself. Your integrity is everything.” This outlook has helped him perform a deluge of technical work, keeping it far from mundane while making every day an exciting new challenge. When Bob’s not hard at work directing operations, he enjoys spending time on his boat with his family and grandchildren.
